Sortwell

Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 12 July 2026

This policy sets out how Sortwell products and the johgramet.shop store may be used. It is part of our Terms of Service.

1. Products, not a waste service

Sortwell sells recycling, sorting and storage products only. We do not collect, transport, treat or dispose of waste, and we do not provide any waste-management, cleaning, installation or disposal service. Our products help you organise materials; what you do with those materials afterwards is your responsibility and must follow the regulations in your jurisdiction.

2. Intended use

Our kits are designed for non-hazardous, everyday materials: household and office recyclables, food scraps for compost, paper and cardboard, textiles for donation or repair, and general storage.

3. Prohibited contents

You must not use our products to store, carry or process:

  • Hazardous or toxic waste, chemicals or solvents.
  • Medical, clinical or biological waste.
  • Flammable, explosive, corrosive or pressurised materials.
  • Regulated, controlled or restricted substances of any kind.

The Battery & E-Waste Box is for the safe interim holding of everyday household batteries and small electronics only, ahead of drop-off at an approved collection point. It is not for disposal and not for damaged, swollen or leaking cells.

4. Follow your local rules

Recycling and waste rules differ by country and municipality. You are responsible for sorting and disposing of materials in line with the regulations in your jurisdiction. Our guidance is general reference only — see the Sorting Guidance Notice.

5. Site conduct

Do not misuse the store, attempt unauthorised access, scrape at scale, or submit unlawful, infringing or harmful content through our forms.

6. Consequences and contact

We may refuse or cancel orders, or restrict access, where this policy is breached. Questions? Email support@johgramet.shop.
